Welcome to the final year for the National theme:

This theme allows us to delve into many environmental actions as we respond to God's Call. We continue to respond to God's call as he inspires us through environmental challenges.  These include reducing, recycling, repairing, reusing and even refusing. Parish Councils have been challenged to work on "Project Garbage" and find activities that their members can participate in.

National President, Anne Gorman asks that we concentrate on the issue of WATER. We must work towards educating others about the importance of keeping our waters clean.  As National CWL Council celebrates its 100th Anniversary in 2020, we are encouraged to consider donating to a CNEWA Project: Pieta Bhavan, support for a drinking water well?in Pothy, Kerala, India.  Check under Community Life Committee, Communiqué #10 for more details.

When Colleen Perry became the Ontario Provincial CWL President, she asked that we continue the 'homelessness' theme but with an emphasis on "Loneliness".  Everyone experiences loneliness throughout life, and we can see how the homeless, seniors, the dying, those who are being bullied, etc. need our support and a listening ear.  What can we give/do to make a difference in someone's life?
